Today there are choirs for everyone. The formal and the informal but The Orwell Singers bridge the gap. We are united by a passion for singing and love to perform everything from classical to modern, show songs to spirituals and folk songs to festive numbers.
Don’t worry if you can’t read music – an ability to sight read is helpful but not essential. We sing in unison, two, three or four parts, accompanied and unaccompanied.
Rehearsals take place on Thursday evenings during school term times at Museum Street Methodist Church, Ipswich, from 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm (entrance and car park off Black Horse Lane).
Membership fees are £105 per year and it includes music. There is an informal audition.
